Ride & Bike - taking the train to a cycling tour in the Bergisches Land

Cycling tours with a direct connection to regional rail services

Would you like to go on a cycling tour in the Bergisches Land and prefer to travel by train than by car? No problem! The RB25 service runs between Cologne and Marienheide right through the Bergisches Land and offers the opportunity to get off at various stations along the Agger and simply start cycling (e.g. Rösrath, Lohmar-Honrath, Overath, Dieringhausen, Marienheide). The RB48 in Leichlingen or the S-Bahn line S11 in Bergisch Gladbach also offer direct rail connections to/from Cologne.

We have put together some tour suggestions here that start at or pass by railway stations (or the immediate vicinity). You can find more information about the timetable at the Rhine-Sieg Transport Association (Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg) at www.vrs.de
