Exciting, fun and educational

Forest and nature trails

On the forest and nature trails, you'll find a variety of themes, exciting sensory stations, and breathtaking views. Whether with family, as a couple, or deliberately alone – in the forests, orchards, or even among the treetops, you can breathe deeply, discover, and marvel.

On a lovingly designed circular trail, you'll be accompanied by characters like Silva the Wood Mouse, who introduces you and especially children to friends from the forest, fascinating plants, and little adventures along the way. A barefoot path, animal long jump, animal tracks, and sound stations add playful elements.
If you're looking for a breathtaking view, the Panarbora treetop walkway is sure to impress: 1.635 meters long, completely barrier-free, with six interactive stations nestled among the treetops and a 40-meter observation tower. Imagine: walking along wooden walkways, experiencing the sounds, scents, and animals of the forest up close.
Experience nature with all your senses on the insect and bee nature trail or the fruit trail. Hear the buzzing of these industrious helpers or discover the diversity of the orchards – explore how vital both are to our daily lives.

No matter which path you choose, you'll immerse yourself in local ecosystems, learn about the flora and fauna, and find peace, exercise, and adventure in nature. Pack your curiosity – and discover the Bergisches Land region on trails that tell stories, teach, and enchant.
