The eighth stage of the Bergisches Panorama Trail leads up to the village of Blockhaus, situated at an altitude of 500 meters. With breathtaking panoramic views across the rolling landscape to the Eifel and Siebengebirge hills, the Puhlbruch nature reserve lies at the hiker's feet.

Various themed trails lead to the source of the Wiehl Reservoir, offer a view of the famous Krombacher Island, guide visitors from wayside shrines to monuments, or introduce even the youngest hikers to the forest with its amazing flora and fauna. On the health resort hiking trails around Eckenhagen, you can relax and breathe deeply in the fresh, healthy air amidst nature.
