Morsbach

Everything at a glance

Morsbach

Morsbach lies in the southeasternmost corner of the Bergisches Land region and borders the Sauerland, Siegerland, and Westerwald regions. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view from a 30-meter-high observation tower on the southern edge of the village. The impressive vista extends across the Morsbach Uplands and parts of the Bergisches Land region as far as the Siebengebirge hills.

Morsbach boasts a long history. A Staufer-Romanesque basilica, a medieval fortified house, a nearby moated castle, and picturesque half-timbered houses document the past and invite visitors to explore.

Well-marked hiking trails, the Baumweg trail and part of the Bergisches Panoramasteig trail lead through the Morsbacher Bergland region.

The cozy restaurants and well-maintained hotels offer a pleasant place to relax after an active day.
