aqualon tour "Wupper loop"
From Burscheid, we cycle along the Balkantrasse panoramic cycle path to Wermelskirchen. Following the Sengbach reservoir, we eventually reach the Wupper valley. Following the river, past the Balkhauser Kotten, we cycle to the picturesque village of Obenrüden, known, among other things, for the Rüdenstein rock formation. With a view of the Wipperkotten, one of the most popular photo spots in the Bergisches Land region, we cycle to Leichlingen. The route continues through the forest to Opladen and from there back to Burscheid or Wermelskirchen on the Balkantrasse. In Burscheid, there is an opportunity to stop for refreshments at the "Alter Bahnhof" beer garden.
