Enjoy the views across meadows and water, breathe in the fresh forest air, and tackle the next climb together – a guided mountain bike tour combines sport, fun, and enjoyment. Discover the diverse Bergisches Land landscape in and around Wipperfürth – the tour guide will take care of the route and offer some riding technique tips.In cooperation with Wipperfürth Tourism, the mountain bike team "Nippel 89" offers guided MTB tours for adults once a month from May to September. "Team Nippel 89" is a group of around 25 active bikers and has been riding in the Bergisches Land region since 1989. 

On August 23, 2026, join us for a ride on beautiful trails around Wipperfürth. The 36 km tour with approximately 800 meters of elevation gain is designed for e-mountain bikes. Conventional mountain bikers with sufficient fitness are also welcome. The start and finish are at the Wipperfürth market square in front of the "Penne" inn. Here you will find information about other tours throughout the year.

  • Additional information: This tour is rated "moderately difficult." This means you are familiar with mountain biking, but challenging root or rock sections are not required. You prefer riding at a moderate pace on forest roads, woodland paths, and quiet paved roads. Trail sections are welcome.
