Family workshop: The electricity workshop - Know why it sparks!

Electricity comes from the wall socket – that's clear. But how does it get there, how is it generated, and what does that mean for our environment and our wallets? Can the participants create a stable electricity grid in a game? Is that possible without coal or nuclear power plants, relying solely on wind energy?
In the renewable energy card game, everyone finds out whether, for example, a solar power plant can supply more than 1 million people with electricity. Things get tricky with the blackout game on the computer: What should you pack for a major power outage? And who is best equipped to help with emergency power supplies, blankets, candles, and drinking water?
At six stations, interested people play and discuss together about electricity generation, energy consumption and the consequences for the environment.
