Guided tours at and inside the Neuemühle in Wermelskirchen: History of a Bergisches Land mill

LuGeV presents one of the few remaining, listed mills in the Bergisches Land region. Bernd Kaden leads a tour to interesting parts of the former grain mill and bakery. Along the path by the millrace, amidst the picturesque surroundings of the Eifgenbach Valley nature reserve, you'll see the extensive milling system, a quarry, fish ponds, and much more. Inside the mill, you'll learn details about its construction and, in particular, about the working Königswinter wood-fired oven, which has been in operation once a month for the past eight years.
