Guided hike as part of the Bergische Wanderwochen (Bergisch Hiking Weeks)
The tour includes 14 stations such as:
2 churches and former parish houses
The old schools and the teachers' house
The journeymen's house and the Marian fountain
The Kaiserlinde tree and the Holper Bach stream with former mills
Fritz Wingen Square, a memorial to the universal artist Fritz Wingen
House sign and the oldest door inscription in Morsbach.
The half-timbered ensemble of Oberholpe.
 
The book offers insights into people's lives, the school system, the lives of teachers, and the Kulturkampf (cultural struggle) within schools. It also provides insights into church life and the work of missionaries and priests, as well as into the politics, art, and culture of the time.
