Mountain biking is a technical sport that requires proper training to navigate the terrain safely, athletically, efficiently, and with minimal wear and tear on your body and equipment, while also being environmentally responsible. You are very welcome to join this program with your mountain bike or e-mountain bike.

  • Meals: Bring your own packed lunch; optional stop at a cafe in Bensberg after the course (at your own expense)
  • Equipment: a functioning mountain bike (hardtail or full suspension; for e-bikes, please ensure the battery is charged), helmet (helmets are mandatory!), spare inner tube with a suitable valve (tubeless = sealant), cycling gloves (recommended), goggles, weather-appropriate clothing, sufficient water, snacks/energy bars/provisions, knee and elbow pads if needed, we recommend and prefer platform pedals, but participation is also possible with loosely adjusted clipless pedals, the coach will carry an air pump, multi-tool, shock pump, and first-aid kit in his backpack
