On this hike in the forest around the Kerberg hill in Gummersbach, participants will learn about the diverse lifestyles and distribution patterns of native fungi. The focus is not primarily on edible mushrooms, but rather on the entire diversity of the fungal world and how to handle it correctly.
Of course, you will also receive instructions on how to identify easily recognizable species and genera yourself. Weatherproof clothing and sturdy footwear are required.
Please do not bring dogs on this mushroom walk. The excursion is designed as an educational event; children are also very welcome. No edible mushrooms will be collected.
Meeting point: Entrance to the VHS Gummersbach office, Brückenstr. 1.
