Guided tour in the Aggertal Cave: "CSI - Hidden Traces"

There are traces in the Aggertal Cave that remain hidden and invisible under the normal cave lighting. But it's worth going in search of these traces.

What exactly does the cave guide mean when they say the cave is in limestone? Limestone. Rock in general. What is it? Rock always consists of a multitude of minerals, and these reveal themselves through traces that are often only visible with the right lighting. Then there are the formations of aragonite and calcite that have grown on the cave walls and ceilings. We see them in the light of the cave lighting. But even these reveal more in the right light than you can see under normal cave lighting.

We'll also examine the aragonite and calcite formations found within the cave. This tour is also ideal for mineral enthusiasts who would like to learn more about minerals and their composition.

So, CSI isn't just on free TV and streaming services, but also right here in the Aggertal Cave. Fascination and excitement included. We'll take a small group of no more than 12 participants into the cave. The planned tour duration is approximately one hour. However, we welcome questions from our guests and will take the time to answer them. Therefore, the tour may occasionally run a little longer. All the necessary "crime scene investigation equipment" will be provided by us.
