Yoga in the Museum

Health & Wellness
Sports & Freetime
Yoga and art have much in common: the exploratory observation and feeling, the pausing and reflection, the conscious experience, the search for inspiration, openness, and arrival. Yoga, loosely translated, means connecting with what is within us and with what surrounds us – in this case, the unique architecture and art of the Villa Zanders Art Museum.

In this gently flowing yoga practice (90 minutes) in the magnificent Green Salon, breath and movement merge, the mind finds peace in the here and now, and perception expands. An ideal preparation for a sensually engaging art experience during the subsequent guided tour of the current exhibition (60 minutes).

  • Kati Kratz is a trained art historian, journalist and certified yoga teacher.
  • The class is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.
  • Please come in comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. Changing facilities are not available.
