Bielstein's living room - brewery taproom

There's a lot of history to explore at Haus Kranenberg. We pay particular attention to the local Erzquell Brewery, which has been brewing beer just 130 meters from here since 1900 and delivered its first keg to Haus Kranenberg on September 5, 1900. Founded as the Adler Brewery, it has been known throughout Germany as Erzquell Brewery since 1979, not least for what has been officially named the best Kölsch in the world since 2002. As the birthplace and current brewery taproom, we serve two regional beers on tap in a typical brewery atmosphere. Whether you prefer Zunft Kölsch or Bergisches Landbier, we have plenty available; you just won't find Altbier here.

Mondays are schnitzel day. Every Wednesday we serve potato pancakes with applesauce or beer goulash. And every Thursday is girls' night with cocktails, Prosecco, Hugo, and Aperol Spritz at especially low prices. On the first Friday of every month, we invite you to "Dance & Party" – the party for everyone young at heart aged 30 and up.

Our terrace is open until 9:30 pm in the summer.
