Historic Holstein's Mill – Where history meets enjoyment

The historic Holstein's Mill in Nümbrecht combines centuries-old craftsmanship with contemporary hospitality. Nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Bergisches Land region, it lies idyllically in the Brölbach valley – just a few minutes from Homburg Castle.

Originally built in the Middle Ages as a grain and sawmill, the mill has been expanded and modernized several times over the centuries. Today, it presents itself as a lovingly restored ensemble of half-timbered construction, millpond, and waterwheel – and houses a stylish restaurant with regionally inspired cuisine, an event barn, and a small guesthouse.
The mill is particularly popular with day-trippers, wedding couples and connoisseurs looking for something special: be it a relaxed dinner on the sunny terrace by the pond, a celebration in the lakeside pavilion or a romantic weekend in the bridal suite.

Bergische Kaffeetafel
Here, guests can also enjoy the traditional Bergisches Land coffee and cake spread – a popular classic in the region. This is regularly offered on the first Saturday of every month or can be booked for groups of six or more for Saturday and Sunday.
