Das Kaffeekännchen offers its guests a fine selection of freshly baked cakes and tarts, seasonal specialties and small savory dishes. 
Since its founding, the café has placed particular emphasis on regional, sustainable products and traditional recipes. The cakes, tarts, and many other delicacies are baked according to old family recipes – with ingredients that come mostly from the café's own garden or from surrounding farms. Eggs and fruit juices come from regional producers, and the coffee is sourced from a roastery in Hückeswagen.

One highlight is the one that opened in 2020. Is-huuske – the café's own ice cream parlor. Here, special ice cream flavors made from the finest ingredients are offered, many of them vegan, lactose-free, or gluten-free.
