Kitchen Courtyard
260 years ago, in 1755, the four-sided farmstead was built next to St. Mark's Chapel and served the Cistercian monks as a farm with a dairy, stables, fish farm, and vegetable and herb garden. Today, the Küchenhof restaurant is located in the farmstead and offers a quiet, stylish ambiance that preserves the monastic origins of the place.
Guests experience a relaxed atmosphere with personal service – ideal for enjoyable meals, social gatherings or small celebrations.
The restaurant serves seasonal dishes and offers cakes, waffles at set times, and a full menu of hot meals on weekends. The spacious courtyard is a lovely place to relax when the weather is nice.
Between March and October, you can also enjoy the kitchen courtyard very well with the Bergisch Hiking Bus .
