The quaint pancake house is located in the heart of the small town of Nümbrecht in the Bergisches Land region. 
The restaurant is, of course, famous for its delicious homemade pancakes. Guests are spoiled for choice between savory and sweet pancakes – but good news! You can have both! At the Nümbrecht Pancake House, you can order a pancake with two different halves. So you can try both a sweet and a savory version. The menu also includes a small selection of meat dishes such as sliced ​​meat or pepper steak, salads, appetizers, and soups. Guests who have opted for a savory main course but now have a craving for something sweet can enjoy various desserts such as original Bergische waffles, "Nümbrecht apple strudel," ice cream sundaes, and other offerings.

Bergische Kaffeetafel
A true specialty in the Bergisches Land region is the Bergische Kaffeetafel, where, in addition to hot waffles with cherries, other sweet and savory dishes are served. 
Traditionally, the meal begins with a raisin loaf spread with butter, jam, or sauerkraut, then topped with a layer of rice pudding flavored with cinnamon and sugar. This is followed by the savory part: dark bread topped with cheese, quark, or ham. Then comes the highlight: homemade waffles with hot cherries – fresh from the waffle iron. Delicious coffee is served in the traditional way, from a Dröppelminna (a type of coffee pot).
