The family-run Landhotel Stremme in Gummersbach, with its large beer garden, is located near the Aggertalsperre reservoir and is therefore a wonderful starting point for hiking and cycling tours as well as various water sports. The hotel is certified as a "bed+bike" hotel by the ADFC (German Cyclists' Federation) and as a "Quality Host for Hiking in Germany" by the German Hiking Association. Cyclists are also very welcome and can book a riding safety training course upon request.
