The Hotel-Restaurant “Zum Schwanen” in Wermelskirchen, complete with its own sauna, is certified as a “bed+bike hotel” by the ADFC (German Cyclists' Federation) and is the perfect starting point for extended cycling tours, for example, along the railway cycle paths (Bergischer Panorama-Radweg, Panorama-Radweg Balkantrasse). The Eifgenbachweg trail and the hiking paths around the Große Dhünntalsperre reservoir invite you to enjoy short and long hikes. Burg Castle is also a great nearby destination. The newly added stone terrace is a new feature.
