Hiking in Bergisch Gladbach
The Naturfreundehaus Hardt is located in the middle of the forest, directly on several hiking trails, and offers a great starting point for hikers and groups.
It is located approximately halfway along the Bergischer Streifzug "Bensberger Schlossweg" trail, and the Bergischer Weg trail also passes directly by the house.

Accommodation & Grounds
The Naturfreundehaus Hardt is ideal for groups and families as an overnight accommodation option. Self-catering and use of a separate kitchen are also possible.
The grounds include a large playground and football pitch. Barbecue huts are also available for rent.

Gastronomy
Whether for a post-hike refreshment, a relaxing coffee break, or a convivial gathering in the beer garden – the Naturfreundehaus Hardt offers the perfect retreat for a variety of occasions. In addition to refreshing drinks, delicious coffee specialties, and freshly baked cakes, they also offer hot meals and homemade classics like currywurst with fries or vegan potato salad, ensuring that every guest will find something to their liking.
In addition, a breakfast is regularly held on Sundays, with a rich buffet including filter coffee, tea and cocoa. 
Furthermore, there are special themed days: Every Wednesday is waffle day, every Thursday is potato pancake day, and Friday is schnitzel day. 

Bergische Kaffeetafel
The popular Bergische Kaffeetafel (coffee and cake spread) is also offered at the Naturfreundehaus Hardt. This can be booked for Wednesday to Saturday, for groups of 8 or more, and at least three days in advance.
