Three times Bergisches Land, please!

Here you can expect three individually designed hiking tours through the Oberbergisches Land region, off the beaten track. We start every morning at 9:30 a.m. at the parking lot by the indoor swimming pool/school in Nümbrecht.

Round 1: from Nümbrecht to Waldbröl (24.09.2021)
This beautiful 15 km hiking trail leads us over hilltops, through valleys, and along orchards to "Panarbora," where we can climb the observation tower and enjoy the panoramic view. Afterwards, we continue across the Nutscheid ridge to Waldbröl. From there, public transport will take us back to Nümbrecht.

Tour 2: from Waldbröl to Denklingen (September 25, 2021)
After the bus transfer to Waldbröl bus station, our hike (18 km) begins. From here, we walk towards Escherhof, then change direction, head towards Denklingen, cross the old railway line, and find ourselves in Reichshof. After a well-deserved ice cream at our destination, Denklingen, we return to Nümbrecht via Waldbröl using public transport.

Round 3: from Denklingen to Nümbrecht (September 26, 2021)
The bus takes us to Denklingen Castle, the starting point of this varied 14 km hike. We head towards Oberbreidenbach – a steady up and down, past the Bieberstein Pond, over the Heisterstock hill into the Homburger Bröl valley, and on to Distelkamp in Hustemich. From here, Homburg Castle is not far. A final stop at the "O'berg" café in the center of Nümbrecht rounds off the hike.
