From the mountain to the stream, from cheese to Kölsch

The meeting point is the "program" – at the Panorama Hut Blockhaus, you'll find pure panoramic views! In the border region of Rhineland and Westphalia, the trail leads across the Bergisches Land hills with magnificent views far into the Sauerland region. After passing through picturesque villages, you'll encounter the so-called Juniper Trail, steeped in legendary tales. Then comes the leap into the neighboring "Bergisches Land Primeval Forest." Here, the beech forest is left to its own devices and is no longer managed by forestry companies.
Culinary delights await, including the "Eckenhääner Kurgetränk" (a local spa drink), Bergisches Kölsch beer, farmer's cheese, and herbal dishes – always served in picturesque natural settings. And along with the experience, you'll hear amusing stories about old eating habits and forgotten customs.
