Since the association was founded in July 2013, the 3-city depot in Hückeswagen has become an exciting technology hotspot.

These three cities had a distinguished reputation in German industrial history. They played a crucial role in the economic heyday of the Bergisches Land region. Many companies have their production facilities or logistics centers here. Their proximity to the Wupper River has contributed significantly to their success.
 
The association was founded in 2013 so that this exciting industrial history could be passed on to future generations.
The location for the numerous exhibits, which are refurbished by the members in the club's own workshop, is an old industrial hall in the East I industrial park on the former site of the forging machine manufacturer Bêché & Grohs in Hückeswagen at Peterstraße 69-77, entrance gate 2.

Visitors are regularly given insights into the town's craft and industrial past. In this way, a meeting place has been created where people can touch and try out technology.
 
The 3-Cities Depot also sees itself as an extracurricular educational institution where children, teenagers, and adults can experience technical know-how from the last two centuries. Computer science and robotics courses are offered.
Conducted by the cooperation partner Berufskolleg Hückeswagen, the program is primarily intended to appeal to students.
and inspire them to pursue technical careers.  
 
To distribute the workload of the association among as many people as possible, the board is looking for volunteers. Anyone who would like to participate, for example by restoring historical machines, is welcome, as are people who would like to lead tours or provide educational programs. The association is also always looking for supporting members who contribute financially to the preservation of these valuable vintage machines.
 
Don't just look, be creative, experience technology, discover it, try it out yourself and conduct experiments in the experiment center. The Monday group meets every week from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
