The themed hiking trail starts at the dam of the Aggertal reservoir.Energy pathway"from the "Streifzug" series of the Bergisches Wanderland hiking region.
A huge artwork has been on display at the dam since summer 2025. The 137-meter-wide and 6,5-meter-high piece addresses the REGIONALE's future theme, "Everything is a Resource!" Resources shape the Bergisches RheinLand region: water, forest, grass, and stone have shaped and continue to shape the cultural landscape and are omnipresent. Accelerated climate change makes it clear: a sustainable and efficient use of local resources is crucial. The large-scale artwork "ECHO" at the Aggertal Dam sends a powerful message in this regard.
