Derschlag observation tower
The observation tower, resembling a small castle tower, was built in 1904 by Otto Bubenzer in the style of an artificial ruin on the Dorner Kopf (346m) south of Derschlag. In 2004, this landmark of Derschlag celebrated its 100th anniversary and was renovated.
At the end of the street "Am Bäuweg", the path marked with diamond 2 leads to the tower and then continues along the high path towards Merkhausen.
