Haldyturm observation tower

Viewpoint/lookout tower
The "Haldyturm" offers hikers a fantastic panoramic view over Ründeroth and the surrounding area.
The tower is located in the middle of the forest and is a worthwhile destination for a break during a hike or walk. It is difficult to reach by car.

This observation tower above Ründeroth was built in 1903 using funds from a collection by the citizens in honor of the deserving district administrator Haldy (district administrator of the then district of Gummersbach from 1885 to 1899), who had his residence at Haus Ley.
