Historic railways / Leisure railways
Wiehl station is the final stop of the "Bergischer Löwe" museum railway.
During a journey through the idyllic Wiehl Valley, you can enjoy the fresh air and steam from the platform of a historic carriage. Upon arrival in Wiehl, you will have either one or five hours to explore the town.

The accessible Museum Achse, Rad und Wagen (Museum of Axle, Wheel and Wagon) is within walking distance and open from 13 pm to 17 pm. Admission is free.

The wildlife park and stalactite cave are also noteworthy destinations.

Finally, Wiehlpark, with its numerous opportunities for play and fun, is a great destination, especially for families with children. A stop at one of the many restaurants or cafés is highly recommended.

Back in Dieringhausen, the railway museum, as the end point of the route, invites visitors to explore its historic locomotive shed.

The steam train runs every two to three weeks on Saturdays between Dieringhausen and Wiehl from the end of March.
