Balloon launch site, Eckenhagen
This is where balloonists gather to pursue their aerial hobby. The numerous championships held here attest to the quality of Germany's "First Balloon Republic." More than 25 balloon teams can simultaneously prepare their balloons at the launch site and take to the air.

The balloon launch site is located north of the center of Eckenhagen, right next to the sports field at the end of Hahnbucher Straße in a cul-de-sac. Ample parking is available.
