Bad weather alternatives
Experience the world of your ancestors at the turn of the century in the half-timbered house that has been converted into a museum.
Lovingly furnished with over 4.000 items, the house gives the impression that the inhabitants had only just stepped out to work in the fields. Visitors can also admire the charming farmstead with its main house, bakehouse, barn, and carriage house.

The traditional annual baking and cabbage festivals offer a particularly good opportunity to step back in time. Other events, such as the Eckenhääner country market and the trombone concert, also take place around the farm museum.

The museum is open to visitors on Sundays from 13:00 PM to 17:00 PM and by appointment. Guided tours are offered upon request by the local history society; please call 0177-4913421.
