The Brucher Dam is the closest reservoir to the source of the Wupper River and was built in 1912 and 1913. It requires 3,37 million cubic meters of water to fill. The reservoir then has a surface area of 47,4 hectares.

Information for groups
Free guided tours are offered by prior appointment. They are usually held Monday to Thursday between 9 a.m. and 13 p.m. Tours are also often offered on open house days.
