For teenagers and all sports enthusiasts, there's a parkour area. This trendy sport, originating in France, involves using only one's physical abilities to overcome obstacles as efficiently and elegantly as possible. At CityPark, you can now jump, play, and train to your heart's content. Courses and training programs are already being planned.
CityPark is also a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Generously landscaped open spaces, barrier-free walkways, deck chairs and benches, as well as fruit trees and the exposed Waldbrölbach stream, make the approximately 2.000 m² area a green oasis for young and old.
The entire complex is scheduled for completion in 2026. By then, the park will be expanded to include an event space, a connection to the city cycle path, a mobility hub, charging facilities, and bicycle parking and parking areas.
