Erdenburg - Ringfort

Historical site
Remnants from a bygone era.
The "Erdenburg" is a ringfort consisting of three concentric ramparts and ditches, presumably built by the Sugambri shortly after the birth of Christ. It encompasses an oval measuring 230 x 165 meters, which is completely traversable.
A parking lot is located at the corner of Moitzfeld and Wipperführterstraße. From there, it is a short walk along a hiking trail to the hilltop on which Erdenburg Castle is situated.
