Gold village Thier

Historical city center
Thier lies on a ridge along the old cart track between Bergisch Gladbach and Wipperfürth.
The award-winning village of Thier captivates visitors with its historic 18th-century village center, featuring five listed buildings, a neo-Gothic church, and the old churchyard dating back to 1795, which is also a protected monument. The churchyard's distinctive features include its terraced layout with two sets of steps, a surrounding churchyard wall, and 19th-century monuments. The priests' graves at the rear of the church, the mission cross, and an angel statue are testaments to the village's rich heritage.
