hamlet of Altenhof

Altenhof is located near Nesselrath in the Wupper Valley. The married couple Thielgen and Entgen were mentioned as living at Altenhof in 1589.
Some of the farm buildings have been renovated in a contemporary style. Like Leysiefen, Haus Nesselrath, and the castle ruins, Altenhof can only be reached on foot, as everything is located in a zone restricted to residents.
The Altenhof estate is now privately owned.
