Kirchdorf Agathaberg

Historical city center
Agathaberg is one of the highest-altitude church villages in the entire Bergisches Land region.
St. Agatha's Church is visible from afar. The listed church path, featuring 14 Stations of the Cross, encircles the church. Besides the church, there are many other historic buildings worth seeing, including the old monastery, the old rectory, and the old school. Of particular note is the "Dorfschänke," a tavern dating back to 1900, which still welcomes visitors today. The local association's barbecue hut offers a magnificent panoramic view to the north, making it easy to choose the next destination, as Agathaberg provides hiking trails in every direction.
