Whether it's a farm, a ropewalk, or a blacksmith's shop – you can watch or even try your hand at the various crafts. And in between, relaxing walks through charming countryside beckon. Watch a farmer tilling the fields with a plow, just like in the old days, or simply settle down in the grass for a picnic.
The museum restaurant "Lingenbacher Hof" also offers traditional and regional dishes in a cozy atmosphere and a great beer garden.
There's something going on all year round at the LVR Open-Air Museum Lindlar. In addition to numerous events, the following program offerings await you in the areas of crafts, everyday life in the Bergisches Land region, nature, animals, and creativity.

Accessibility
- Travel for everyoneThe museum grounds have been restored to a state they were in 100 years ago. They are very extensive and include some inclines. The paths are unpaved.
The houses are old farmhouses where wheelchair access is limited. Small ramps and the assistance of staff are provided to facilitate this. Two electric and two manual wheelchairs, as well as a rollator, are available for loan at the museum; reservations at the museum ticket office (+49 2266 / 471920) are recommended.
Accessible toilets are located in the entrance building, under the blacksmith's shop and in the museum restaurant "Lingenbacher Hof".
Visually impaired people can borrow free audio guides. Unfortunately, the paths are not marked in a way that would allow a blind person to navigate alone, so an accompanying person is necessary.
Upon request, all guided tours can be tailored to the specific needs of the group. For information, please contact the museum administration at +49 2266 / 9010-0.General information on accessibility Arrival & Parking
