Öku-Bike bicycle rental

With support from the European LEADER funding program, 10 trekking e-bikes and 2 cargo e-bikes were purchased. The bikes are available in different frame sizes and are available to groups, families, young people, and senior citizens. 

The bikes are ideally suited for excursions in the Wipperfürth area, for tourist exploration of the Bergisches Land region, or for group trips to event locations or themed tours to specific places or sights.

The Fun2Go The Öku-Bike is a parallel tandem with three wheels, on which the riders sit side by side. One person steers, and both can pedal. The switchable freewheel hub allows the rider to determine how the passenger can pedal. An electric motor provides assistance. The bike also enables people with physical limitations to enjoy a bicycle tour. The Öku-Bike rental station is wheelchair accessible and located directly on the railway cycle path. For groups, transport of the bikes to the starting point or pick-up from the finish point can be arranged. 

Helmets, bicycle locks, luggage accessories, etc. can be booked additionally.
