Reichshof-Eckenhagen pump track
The pumptrack is located to the right of the sports field. It's primarily aimed at younger riders eager to balance their bikes over the bumps and master the sharp turns. The track is 280 meters long; one course is designed for 3- to 8-year-olds with their balance bikes and bicycles, while the longer course is for ages 8 and up. Only road bikes are permitted. Vehicles and equipment with combustion engines are not allowed. The track is open between 6:00 a.m. and 22:00 p.m. and is freely accessible. (This project was financed with urban development funds and a contribution from the municipality and is part of the Eckenhagen Integrated Action Plan.) Both recreational cyclists and competitive athletes will find something to enjoy here. As one of the largest of its kind in Germany, the pumptrack meets high quality standards and offers excellent training conditions for all ages.
