Auel Castle

Castle/Palace/Manor House
The former moated castle Auel was first mentioned in a document in 1391.
Centuries later, in 1763, the moated castle was converted into a palace and has existed in its current Baroque form ever since. In 2006, Auel Palace underwent extensive renovation and restoration.

Today, the castle offers many possibilities: in addition to weddings, receptions, and family celebrations in the historic ballrooms, there are numerous conference rooms. Individual visitors can also dine in the "Schloss Auel" restaurant or the bistro. The castle also offers various accommodation options.

The centerpiece of Auel Castle is the castle chapel "St. John Nepomuk", which can be booked for weddings.

Next to the castle is a 27-hole championship golf course.
