Ehreshoven Castle
The Baroque moated castle was first documented in 1355 and was for a long time the seat of the Count of Nesselrode. The three-winged Baroque complex (16th/17th century) is still surrounded by moats. The prominent central section is adorned with a grand staircase and a coat-of-arms-crowned portal. The stained-glass windows in the main building date from 1595.
The picturesque castle is not open to the public as it is privately owned. The park and castle grounds can also be easily viewed from the surrounding paths.
