Heiligenhoven Castle

Castle/Palace/Manor House
Heiligenhoven Castle is idyllically situated in a green setting, right next to the leisure park, not far from the center.
The 700-year-old former knight's seat "Ober-Heiligenhoven" is one of three former manor houses. The other two stood in Mittel- and Unter-Heiligenhoven, southwest in the valley towards Untereschbach.

Heiligenhoven Castle has housed a rehabilitation clinic since summer 2025. The castle can only be viewed from the outside as part of a walk through the park.

Adjacent to the castle park is the beautiful Lindlar leisure park with many opportunities for walks, relaxation, play and fun.
Not far from the castle is the ecological open-air museum of the Rhineland Regional Association, where on 25 hectares the world of the Bergisches Land rural population of the 19th and 20th centuries and their life in and with nature is shown.
