Stand Up Paddling School & Rental

A relatively new water sport that is gaining popularity. You stand on a kind of surfboard and paddle with a long paddle. You could say it's like canoeing while standing up. Originating in Hawaii, SUP has become a trendy sport with increasing popularity. No wonder: SUP is relatively easy to learn, a lot of fun, and appeals to water sports enthusiasts of all ages.

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is a peaceful, unobtrusive sport. The boards glide across the water, and most SUPers seek tranquility, relaxation, and a connection with nature. You can find all of this with us at the Bever Dam. I myself am an enthusiastic SUPer and a certified SUP instructor through the official German SUP Association (GSUPA). This qualifies and enables me to run a professional SUP school.

Kaiao-sup has been operating since the beginning of August 2016. With this new SUP school, I aim to expand and enrich the sporting and tourist offerings at the Bever Dam. Kaiao-sup now offers SUP courses, SUP rentals, and SUP tours. The program includes introductory, basic, and advanced courses, as well as fitness and SUP yoga classes.
