Juniper area in Reichshof-Hespert

They have become rare in North Rhine-Westphalia. However, in the municipality, hiking enthusiasts can admire the juniper heaths near Wildberg, Hespert, and Eckenhagen. The nature reserves are marked on the hiking map and can be explored on marked trails along the juniper heaths.

Once a year, a guided hike to the Silberkuhle and past the juniper heath is offered. You can find the date in the brochure "Guided Hikes and Bike Tours" from the Reichshof Spa & Tourist Information Office. Those who prefer to hike independently can start from the Silberkuhle hiking parking lot (51580 Reichshof-Hespert) and follow trail A1.
