Wine Museum in the Rune House

museum/exhibition

The museum in the Rune House provides information about the centuries-old significance of viticulture in the town of Blankenberg. For centuries, winegrowing shaped the landscape along the Sieg River. The southern slopes of Blankenberg, in the area of the castle and town, were likely already planted with vines around the mid-12th century.
