Wiehl Wildlife Park

Zoo/Animal Park
Wildlife park/wildlife enclosure
Hits for Kids
In the wildlife park you can combine your walk with a visit to wild boar, red deer and fallow deer.
Idyllically situated above the Wiehl stalactite cave, animal and nature lovers can admire wild boars, red deer and fallow deer in various enclosures and observe them in action.

With a bit of luck, you might witness the animals fighting for a female, clashing their horns, or the wild boars defending their territory, seemingly oblivious to their relatives. In autumn, when the dominant stag is in the mood for mating, he advertises with loud bellowing – so loud it sounds like the entire forest is shaking.

You are welcome to bring your own food and feed it in small quantities or throw it into the provided containers.

Those who wish can use the rustic picnic area for a relaxing break.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a leash.

Groups (including school classes) have the option of booking a guided tour.
