Dwarf's Hole
The cave got its name from local folklore, which tells many stories about the dwarves. It is not open to the public.
The Dwarf's Hole is a limestone and stalactite cave approximately 12 meters long and 7 meters wide. At the back are passages, one of which leads into the mountain. Another entrance is believed to have existed above the cave, but it is now filled in. It is considered possible that one of the passages led to Neuenberg Castle and was used as a secret exit.
Excavations have revealed traces of prehistoric use as well as from the time of the Thirty Years' War.

- The dwarf cave is located northeast of the village of Lindlar-Scheel. Parking is available in Scheel; from there it's a short walk.
