ELA Deutschland eV, together with the Bergisches Land Nature Park and the tourism organization Das Bergische, cordially invites media representatives to an inclusive hike at the Brucher Reservoir in Marienheide. 

The event highlights the importance of accessible nature experiences and demonstrates that hiking together is possible regardless of physical limitations. The Brucher Reservoir offers ideal conditions for this: The circular trail was adapted as part of the "All Inclusive – Barrier-Free and Senior-Friendly" project, enabling people with various disabilities to enjoy largely unobstructed access to nature. 

The well-known hiking author and presenter Manuel Andrack will accompany the hike as its patron. The hosts warmly welcome ELA Deutschland e.V., its members and guests, as well as Manuel Andrack. ELA Deutschland e.V. is committed to supporting people with leukodystrophies – rare, mostly genetic diseases of the central nervous system – and their families throughout Germany. The hike sends a clear message of inclusion, participation, and barrier-free nature experiences in the Bergisches Land region. 

The event will also be attended by Friedhelm Julius Beucher, President of the German Disabled Sports Association. WDR will produce a nationwide television report. The organizers would like to thank Haaner Felsenquelle and Erzquell Brewery Bielstein for their support of the event.
