Accessible hiking trail across the ridge of Oberodenthal with picturesque views
The trail begins at the hiking parking lot on the K 28 district road near the village of Scheuren. The path is well-maintained and level, making it ideal for strollers and wheelchairs. From the parking lot, cross the district road and follow the Bülsberger Weg. The trail initially leads through a tall deciduous forest, then alternates between fields and meadows. After about 1 km, you reach the Spezarder Hof, which is mentioned in a document from Count Adolf von Berg dating back to 1253. At that time, the Bergish ruler gifted the farm to Altenberg Abbey and exempted it from all taxes. After another kilometer, you reach the village of Bülsberg. From here, you can either descend to Altenberg via a rather steep road or turn around and return to the starting point, the hiking parking lot on the K 28.
