From Lindlar to Kürten.
The panoramic trail leads from the LVR Open-Air Museum on the outskirts of Lindlar down into the Sülz Valley, following a former railway line with an impressive viaduct. The paths are secluded, guiding hikers over scenic heights and through the idyllic Olpebach Valley to the historic pilgrimage site of Biesfeld. Almost imperceptibly, the trail crosses the district border from Lindlar in the Oberberg region to Kürten in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district.

We would like to thank Christian Jansen and Winfried Rehbach, who look after the path as volunteer path stewards.

Here you will find all the hosts of Stage 2.

Directions

The second stage leads from Lindlar to Biesfeld along numerous narrow paths and forest and meadow trails. In Lindlar, the route initially starts on a forest path towards the LVR Open-Air Museum, which is partially circumnavigated on a narrow path.
The panoramic trail now leads through meadows and forest to the Sülztalbahn railway line, which it follows over a viaduct into the Lindlarer Sülz valley. A narrow path leads up to Scheurenhof, then down again into the Sülz valley via forest tracks and trails, before quickly climbing to Ebbinghausen. From there, the trail descends via beautiful forest and meadow paths to Hommerich and continues with a steady series of ups and downs into the Olpe valley.
Bachtal. Now the route leads via small roads, forest and farm tracks and paths up to Ahlendung, down to Elssiefen and over the final ascent to the highest point of the stage near Biesfeld.
